DIY Car Maintenance Tips
We know that you are busy and just do not have time to handle everything by yourself. Even if you are not a car-geek, there are some basic car maintenance that takes no more than 10 minutes and you can handle them. It will save you money and prevent future repair bills.
Change your fluids, especially oil. You should change your oil every 3,000- 5,000 miles, depending on the quality of the oil.
Once a year, change the cabin air filter. A clogged cabin air filter puts an added load on your car’s A/C system.
Replace your coolant regularly. It is important that you do it about every 25,000 miles (green coolant) or 100,000 miles (extended-life coolant).
After each winter season, it’s time to change your wiper blades. The way you change wiper blades may differ from car to car, but the process is similar to changing an air filter.

Clean headlights. If you notice that your headlights are cloudy, you don’t need to replace them. Simply buy a headlight restoration kit and follow the tips for cleaning cloudy headlights.
